Hello, welcome to second grade!

This is my fourth year at West Side Elementary and love being a part of the Sidney School District. Many of you may know me as Miss Shipp, but this summer I got married and am now Mrs. Zevenbergen! I am so happy my husband, Derek, and I were able to stay in Sidney. I am originally from Glasgow, MT. I enjoy going back to see my family, especially over the summers when I can spend time at Fort Peck Lake.

I received my elementary education degree from MSU Billings in December 2020 and my master's in curriculum and instruction from Western Governors University in May 2022. Teaching is my passion and my goal as a teacher is to create a welcoming and safe learning environment for all students. I can't imagine doing anything else in life other than teaching. I am excited to teach your children and help them grow as a learner and as a person. Thank you for sharing your children with me.
