I am a high school graduate from Columbus, Montana. I attended Northwest Community College on a basketball scholarship, working towards an associate degree in Business Administration. I then transferred to MSU-Billings and pursued a degree in English Secondary Education with English extended. I student-taught in Sidney, graduated MSU-B in 2012, and began teaching in Sidney the following fall. In February of 2020, I obtained my Masters in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum, and English Literature from Colorado State University-Global Campus.
I am married to my wonderful husband, Levi, a Sidney-native, and we have two children together, Lydia and Leif. I absolutely love spending as much time as possible with family, often traveling throughout the year to see our many relatives. I live for being outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and camping. I also find time to read, watch movies/shows, play cards and board games, write, wood-burn and paint, watch professional sports, and enjoy watching my children participate in their many activities!
I am entering my 12th year of teaching at Sidney High School. I look forward to working with sophomores, juniors, and seniors and creating a great school year with them! I have a Virtual Classroom set up on Google and will post regularly for students, especially those who are absent or need access to classroom materials outside of class.
