Sidney Public Schools-Driver Education Schedule 2024-25

Updates on the 2024-25 school year traffic education program. With only 108 8th graders for the 24-25 school year, we will be considering running a spring class for high school and 8th grade students. Eligible students will be contacted directly by Mr. Barnhart if we opt to run a program.

The deadline for signing up for the first fall session of Traffic Education for 2024-25 will be AUGUST 29. There will be two sections in the fall, starting in early September (section 1) and late Sept-early October (section 2) The deadline for the winter session will be December 19. There will be one section generally beginning in late January.

Initial Sign-up During Fall Registration at Central Elementary School July 22-25.

SPS traffic education serves all students who meet the requirements in our school district regardless if they are from a private school, public school, or home school. Placement into a session is based on school activities (see link below), grade level, and age.
